The 5 Dragons slot is available for real-money play at one confirmed US-licensed operator: DraftKings Casino, which carries the title in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. If you live outside those four states, your real-money options are limited to sweepstakes platforms — covered separately below.
Which States Can Play 5 Dragons Slot for Real Money?
Online casino gaming is only legal in a handful of US states as of 2026. DraftKings Casino holds active iGaming licenses in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia — the four states where the 5 dragons title is confirmed on the platform. You must be physically located inside one of those states when you log in; geolocation software checks your position at session start.
Minimum age is 21 in all four states. Must be 21+. Gambling problem? Call 1-800-GAMBLER.

How to Verify a License Before You Deposit
Before depositing anywhere, confirm the operator appears on your state's approved list. New Jersey's Division of Gaming Enforcement and Michigan's Gaming Control Board both publish public operator registries. The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement lists every authorized internet gaming operator in the state.
Free-play sites sometimes place outbound links to offshore casinos after a demo session ends. If a site isn't on a state's approved list, skip it for real money.
What About Players Outside Those Four States?
High 5 Casino and BetRivers.net both operate under a sweepstakes model that is legal nationwide under promotional sweepstakes law. Both platforms carry 5 Dragons. Winnings come as Sweeps Coins redeemable for cash prizes — eligibility varies by state and you should read the terms before assuming a payout is available to you. For a full breakdown, see Play 5 Dragons at Sweepstakes Casinos Available in All 50 States.
What You Should Know About the Game Before Wagering
5 Dragons is a high-volatility slot with an RTP of 95.17%. Long cold streaks are part of the math — not a malfunction. Set a session loss limit before you start. The optional Gamble feature lets you risk any win for a larger payout; repeated use during a session increases exposure. Review the 5 Dragons RTP and high-volatility breakdown before committing a real bankroll.
For mobile sessions, the game runs in HTML5 — no download needed. See the 5 Dragons mobile compatibility guide for browser and device details. If you still have questions about the game itself, the 5 Dragons Slot Machine — Frequently Asked Questions page covers triggers, symbols, and variant differences.
